Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Senior Java Software Engineer to join our team in Buffalo, NY. The ideal candidate will have strong Java/Spring Boot development experience along with hands-on Azure cloud development and API integration expertise.
Key Responsibilities & Skills
- Develop scalable applications using Java, OOP, data structures, and concurrency.
- Build RESTful APIs using Spring Boot.
- Work with build automation and unit testing.
- Develop and integrate Microsoft Azure services, including Azure Functions, Service Integration, Key Vault, Managed Identities, and monitoring.
- Work with HTTP clients and REST APIs, including Java HTTP client libraries.
- Implement API authentication using OAuth 2.0 and handle API errors effectively.
Required Qualifications
- Strong hands-on experience with Java and Spring Boot.
- Solid understanding of REST APIs, HTTP, and API integrations.
- Experience with Azure development and services.
- Experience with OAuth 2.0 authentication.
- Strong understanding of unit testing and build automation.
Pay: $80.00 - $82.00 per hour
Work Location: Hybrid remote in Buffalo, NY 14203
