Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Java Tech Lead with strong hands-on expertise in Java, Microservices, Spring, Cloud, Kubernetes, Docker, and OpenShift . The candidate will lead technical development, guide engineering teams, contribute to architecture and design, and ensure high-quality delivery of enterprise applications in a banking/payment environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead development of Java-based Microservices applications.
• Design scalable Microservices and cloud-based solutions.
• Review code and enforce development best practices.
• Mentor and guide developers on technical deliverables.
• Troubleshoot application and deployment issues.
• Work with Kubernetes, Docker, OpenShift, and cloud environments.
• Drive code refactoring, automation, and engineering improvements.
• Participate in architecture and technical design discussions.
• Collaborate with engineering, product, and other technical teams.
• Support Agile development and delivery activities.
• Ensure timely delivery of high-quality technical solutions.

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong Java and microservices development experience
• Design skills in Java Microservices, cloud, and UI Frameworks
• Review, mentor, and guide the team for deliverables.
• Troubleshoot and perform deployments
• Expertise in Azure, cloud, Kubernetes, Docker, and OpenShift
• Previous work experience with the Spring framework
• Strong technical development experience in effectively writing code, code reviews, best practices code refactoring
• A delivery-focused approach to work and the ability to work without direction
• Experience with various source control tools like GIT
• Good to have hands-on experience with Kafka or any Streaming Technology
• Good to have experience in Splunk, Dynatrace tools
• Experience in Agile Development lifecycle methodology
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Advanced knowledge of architecture and design across all systems
• Configuring and managing software and optimizing processes through automation
• Knowledge of industry-wide technology trends and best practices
• Ability to multitask and prioritize with urgency
• Ability to work in large, collaborative teams to achieve organizational goals
