AI Lead Engineer

Role Description The AI Lead Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in Hyderabad, responsible for leading the design, development, and deployment of AI-driven systems and products. Day-to-day work includes architecting machine learning and deep learning solutions, implementing and optimizing models, and integrating them into production-grade software applications. The role involves collaborating closely with product managers, engineers, and clients to translate business requirements into technical designs, conduct feasibility assessments, and define AI roadmaps. The AI Lead Engineer will mentor junior engineers, establish best practices for AI development, and oversee model evaluation, performance tuning, and monitoring in production environments. This role also includes staying current with emerging AI techniques, conducting technical reviews, and contributing to internal tools and frameworks that accelerate AI delivery.

Qualifications

• Strong foundations in Computer Science, including data structures, algorithms, and software architecture.
• Expertise in Neural Networks and Pattern Recognition, with experience designing, training, and deploying deep learning models.
• Hands-on experience in Software Development, including building, testing, and maintaining production-quality code and APIs.
• Practical knowledge of Natural Language Processing (NLP), with experience implementing NLP pipelines and models.
• Proficiency with modern ML/DL frameworks (e.g., PyTorch, TensorFlow), Python or similar languages, and relevant tooling.
• Experience leading technical teams or projects, including code reviews, mentoring, and setting engineering standards.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms and MLOps practices (model deployment, monitoring, CI/CD for ML) is highly beneficial.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related quantitative field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly, collaborate in cross-functional teams, and work on-site in Hyderabad.
