Job Description

  • 6+ years of technical experience across varied projects handling complex, heavy data sets, specifically for financial institutions (banks, asset managers, investment banks)

  • Tech stack:

    • Must-have Python, Pandas, Numpy, Matplotlib
    • Good to have SQL, Snowflake

  • Should be able to comprehend complex Excel financial models, and break it down into manageable components

  • Can partner closely with business to specify and understand requirements, ask questions, write down goals & tech specs in documentation

  • Prior experience writing complex logic in Python to transform time series data; please note PySpark is not a substitute for Python for this requirement

  • Can write auditable, well documented Python code that replicates the logic in an Excel model as well as for business needs to transform data
