Python Automation Engineer (AI/LLM)
Remote (periodic travel to Arizona - 6X per year) · Reports to CTO
A specialty healthcare compliance consultancy is hiring a Python engineer to build the ETL pipelines and automation that feed our AI/LLM-driven workflows — supporting regulatory compliance and care navigation for Medicaid-serving providers.
What you’ll do:
- Build Python-based ETL pipelines that extract, clean, and structure compliance and pharmacy data
- Feed that data into AI/LLM-driven tools — automation, care navigation, and compliance analysis
- Work daily with Cursor and AI development tooling (ChatGPT/OpenAI, Claude) as core to how you build
- Partner directly with the CTO to shape how AI-assisted engineering works across the team
What you bring:
- Strong Python — real ETL/data pipeline experience (pandas, scripting, automation)
- Hands-on daily use of AI coding tools (Cursor or similar) — this isn’t optional, it’s how we build
- Comfortable working with sensitive, compliance-regulated data (healthcare/HIPAA a plus, not required)
- Self-directed — you’ll be one of the first technical hires, so you need to own your work
Details:
- Remote, with periodic travel to Arizona — must live near a major US airport
- US Citizens or Green Card holders only — no C2C, no consultants
- $150,000–$165,000 base
