Full Stack Engineer

Position Name – Full Stack Developer

Type of hiring – Fulltime

Location – Toronto, ON (3 days a week)

Job Description:

We are seeking a Full Stack Developer with 5+ Years of hands-on experience in both React (TypeScript) and Java/Spring technologies.

The work location will be Toronto, with occasional requirements to work from Scarborough. Candidates are expected to work onsite three days per week.

About the role:

• 5+ Years of hands-on experience in both React (with TypeScript) and Java/Spring — genuinely full stack, not strong on one side and passing on the other
• Comfortable reading and working from technical specifications and REST/API contracts, and able to spot gaps or inconsistencies in them
• Able to reason about design decisions end to end, from the UI through to the service layer

Communication and collaboration:

• Very strong written and verbal communication — can explain technical decisions clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences
• Actively engages in technical discussion and debate rather than waiting to be told what to build
• Brings personality to the team; someone who adds to the day-to-day dynamic, not just the delivery numbers

Leadership:

• Proven ability to mentor and coach more junior developers through code review, pairing, and design guidance
• Comfortable setting a standard for quality that others on the team can follow
