Job Description
Role Overview Seeking an Electrical Engineering Design Specialist 5 to develop complex electrical designs for power systems, master plans, renewable energy, and facility systems.
Responsibilities include creating detailed electrical drawings, performing system calculations, supporting power studies, conducting site reviews, and updating design documentation.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, support proposal development, and engage with clients to understand their electrical needs.
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior staff to foster professional growth.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience with 7+ years in electrical engineering
- Expertise in CAD software, electrical principles, and calculations
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and excellent communication skills
- Knowledge of federal, state, and local regulations
- Experience designing power systems for various facilities and conducting power system studies is preferred
Key Duties
- Design and refine electrical systems, including power distribution and renewable energy systems
- Perform technical studies, site assessments, and update project documentation
- Support proposal development and client engagement
- Mentor junior staff and ensure compliance with industry standards
