Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Product Management professional to provide hands-on coaching and consulting to a young AI Product Manager in New York City.
This role is ideal for a senior product leader who enjoys mentoring, problem-solving, and working directly with emerging product talent. The coach will provide practical guidance on product strategy, project execution, AI product development, and day-to-day decision-making.
The engagement can be part-time or full-time , depending on availability and fit.
Responsibilities
- Meet regularly with the Product Manager to review active projects and priorities.
- Break down complex product and business problems into clear, actionable steps.
- Help translate high-level product strategy into specific tasks and deliverables.
- Provide hands-on guidance throughout product development and execution.
- Review product requirements, roadmaps, workflows, and proposed solutions.
- Help identify risks, tradeoffs, dependencies, and opportunities.
- Coach on product discovery, prioritization, experimentation, and execution.
- Provide practical feedback on AI product concepts and software solutions.
Qualifications
- Significant professional experience in Product Management.
- Strong understanding of product strategy, development, and execution.
- Experience working on software products.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to take ambiguous ideas and turn them into concrete action plans.
- Excellent communication and mentoring abilities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience building or managing AI/ML software products .
- Experience working at technology startups or high-growth companies.
- Experience mentoring junior or early-career Product Managers.
- Technical understanding of AI systems, APIs, software development, or data products.
- Experience taking products from concept through launch and iteration.
Schedule & Location
- Part-Time or Full-Time
- Location: Manhattan, New York City
- In-Person: Several hours per week, primarily on the Upper East Side
- Remote: Additional online support between in-person sessions
