Job Description

Role: Lead Java Developer – Stock Loan / Securities Lending

Location: NYC, NY – Hybrid

12+ months

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior Java Developer with strong hands-on technical expertise and specialized Stock Loan / Securities Lending experience.

Technical Skills

  • Strong hands-on Java development experience.
  • Strong understanding of distributed systems, microservices, and event-driven architectures.
  • Experience designing, developing, and supporting REST APIs and GraphQL services.
  • Experience with distributed cache technologies ( e.g., Hazelcast ) and messaging platforms.
  • Hands-on experience designing, developing, and supporting MQ-based integrations with third-party vendor platforms ( e.g., EquiLend Loanet, Global One, and DTCC ).
  • Strong understanding of API design, GraphQL schema design, performance optimization, and security best practices.
  • Solid knowledge of front-end technologies, including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Experience with Vue.js is a plus.
