• Design and develop enterprise Power BI reports, dashboards, semantic models, and analytical experiences for Corporate Banking stakeholders.
• Apply strong data visualization and data-storytelling principles to communicate descriptive, diagnostic, predictive, and prescriptive insights clearly and effectively.
• Apply Power BI design best practices covering visual selection, page structure, hierarchy, layout, accessibility, theming, usability, drill-through, tooltips, navigation, desktop, and mobile experiences.
• Design and maintain dimensional models using star-schema principles, facts, dimensions, conformed dimensions, slowly changing dimensions, role-playing dimensions, and bridge tables.
• Develop advanced DAX measures using CALCULATE, filter context, row context, context transition, iterators, time intelligence, virtual tables, and efficient calculation patterns.
• Optimize DAX and semantic-model performance using Performance Analyzer, model reduction, efficient relationships, measure design, aggregation strategies, and appropriate storage/connectivity modes.
• Develop Power Query transformations and understand query folding, non-folding transformations, source pushdown, and when transformations should be handled upstream in Databricks rather than in Power BI.
• Integrate Power BI with Azure Databricks and curated Gold-layer datasets using appropriate connectivity patterns and semantic-model design.
• Implement and support Power BI Service administration, workspace/app deployment, refresh scheduling, gateways where required, lineage, usage monitoring, and release management.
• Implement secure reporting using dynamic Row-Level Security, appropriate object/column-level security patterns, workspace roles, app permissions, Build permissions, and controlled sharing/export.
• Reconcile Power BI output to Databricks source data and investigate discrepancies across Gold-layer data, Power Query, semantic model relationships, DAX, filters, and report visuals.
• Partner with business analysts, data engineers, QA/QE, and stakeholders to validate requirements, data definitions, KPIs, report usability, and business accuracy.
• Provide production support for report refresh failures, performance issues, access/security defects, data discrepancies, and release issues.

Must-Have Skills & Experience

• Strong hands-on Power BI development experience delivering complex enterprise-grade reporting solutions.
• Strong data analytics and visualization knowledge, including data storytelling, visual selection, information hierarchy, and the ability to distinguish descriptive, diagnostic, predictive, and prescriptive analytics.
• Strong Power BI report design and usability best practices, including layout, navigation, theming, accessibility, mobile considerations, and avoiding overly dense or misleading visual designs.
• Advanced dimensional modeling experience including star schema, fact/dimension grain, SCD Type 1/2, role-playing dimensions, bridge tables, relationship cardinality, and filter direction.
• Advanced DAX skills including CALCULATE, filter context, row context, context transition, iterators, time intelligence, USERELATIONSHIP, variables, virtual tables, and performance optimization.
• Strong Power Query / M experience with practical knowledge of query folding, non-folding transformations, source pushdown, and data integration best practices.
• Hands-on Power BI + Azure Databricks integration experience, ideally consuming curated Gold-layer or SQL Warehouse data products.
