Role Description

This is a temporary and remote role for an Assistant Coach at Adnan Cricket Academy. The Assistant Coach will support lead coaches in conducting training sessions, assist in skill development activities, provide one-on-one guidance to players, and help prepare players for local and regional games. Additional responsibilities include monitoring player progress, creating tailored training plans, and ensuring a safe and engaging environment for all participants.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of cricket rules, strategies, and techniques, along with prior experience coaching or playing cricket at a competitive level.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and ability to mentor young athletes effectively.
• Understanding of player development techniques, including assessment and performance improvement methods.
• Organizational skills to manage training schedules, assist during matches, and collaborate with lead coaches.
• Background in sports education or coaching certifications is a plus (e.g., ECB Level 1 or similar).
• Passion for working with children and adolescents, ensuring player safety and fostering a positive learning atmosphere.
