DevOps Engineer (Software Factory)

About the Role

We are looking for a skilled DevOps Engineer to join our Software Factory team in Bangalore. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in cloud infrastructure, container orchestration, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and CI/CD automation. You will play a key role in building, deploying, and maintaining scalable, secure, and reliable cloud-native applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain cloud infrastructure on AWS.
• Deploy and manage containerized applications using Docker and Amazon EKS/Kubernetes.
• Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code using Terraform.
• Create and optimize CI/CD pipelines using GitHub and related DevOps tools.
• Automate operational tasks and deployment workflows using Python.
• Manage source code repositories and branching strategies in GitHub.
• Monitor application and infrastructure performance, ensuring high availability and reliability.
• Collaborate with software developers, QA, and platform teams to streamline release processes.
• Implement security best practices across cloud environments and deployment pipelines.

Required Skills

• Strong hands-on experience with AWS cloud services.
• Expertise in Docker and Kubernetes (EKS).
• Proficiency in Terraform for infrastructure provisioning.
• Good programming/scripting experience in Python.
• Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong knowledge of GitHub and version control practices.
• Understanding of cloud networking, security, and container best practices.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 4 to 8 years of experience in DevOps, Platform Engineering, or Cloud Infrastructure.
• AWS or Kubernetes certifications are an added advantage.
