Senior Java Developer

Location: Chennai – Chengalpattu

Work Mode: 5 Days Work From Office (Mandatory)

Experience: 5–15 Years

Required Technical Skills

• Strong hands-on experience in Java 11 and above
• Strong experience in Spring Boot
• Development and integration of RESTful APIs
• Strong knowledge of SQL
• Hands-on experience with JPA / Hibernate
• Strong experience with PostgreSQL
• Experience with Unit Testing , preferably JUnit / Mockito
• Hands-on experience with AWS or GCP
• Good understanding of backend application development and SDLC

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test and maintain scalable Java backend applications
• Develop and integrate REST APIs using Spring Boot
• Implement database solutions using PostgreSQL, JPA and Hibernate
• Write efficient and optimized SQL queries
• Develop unit tests and ensure code quality
• Troubleshoot application issues and support production environments
• Work with cloud technologies such as AWS or GCP
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and deliver technical solutions
• Participate in code reviews and follow development best practices

Candidate Profile

• Strong background in Java backend development
• Experience building Spring Boot / REST API / microservices applications
• Good understanding of relational databases and SQL
• Strong hands-on experience with JPA/Hibernate and PostgreSQL
• Good understanding of unit testing and clean coding practices
• Experience with AWS or GCP is preferred
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills
• Comfortable working in a 5-day Work From Office environment in Mahindra World City, Chengalpattu
