Role Description This is a remote, non-paid internship role for a React Native App Developer, open to U.S. residents only. Interns will collaborate with the product and design teams to build and refine mobile app features using React Native, focusing on user-facing components, navigation, and performance optimization. Day-to-day tasks may include implementing UI designs, integrating APIs, debugging issues, writing clean and maintainable code, and participating in code reviews. Interns will also assist in testing new features, documenting technical decisions, and contributing ideas to improve app usability and scalability. This internship offers hands-on experience in developing a consumer-facing social platform in the sports tech space.

Qualifications

• Foundational knowledge of JavaScript and React or React Native, with the ability to build and maintain mobile app components.
• Understanding of mobile app architecture, state management (e.g., Redux or Context), and RESTful API integration.
• Familiarity with version control tools (e.g., Git) and collaborative development workflows.
• Basic experience with debugging, testing, and performance optimization for mobile applications.
• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to learn new tools and frameworks quickly.
• Effective communication skills and comfort working in a remote, team-based environment.
• Interest in sports, social platforms, or consumer mobile apps is highly beneficial.
• Currently pursuing or recently completed studies in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.**
