Full-Stack Engineer – GovTech AI Startup

About The Opportunity A fast-growing GovTech AI startup is hiring two Full-Stack Engineers to build AI-native software for enterprise and government customers.

This is an AI-first engineering role where you’ll use modern AI coding agents and development tools to accelerate software development and ship products rapidly.

You’ll work closely with the founders and a high-caliber engineering team, building products from the ground up in a fast-paced startup environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and deploy full-stack AI applications
• Architect and develop multi-agent AI systems
• Build customer-facing software and features
• Develop and improve AI orchestration systems
• Write scalable, production-ready software
• Rapidly prototype, iterate, and ship new functionality
• Collaborate directly with founders and engineering teams
• Use AI coding agents and modern development tools to accelerate delivery

Required Qualifications

• 2–4 years of startup software engineering experience
• Strong Python and TypeScript skills
• Deep understanding of LLMs and multi-agent AI systems
• Proven production software development experience
• Strong systems-thinking and architectural skills
• Ability to work independently in a fast-moving startup
• U.S. Citizen
• Willing to relocate to Austin immediately
• Available to start ASAP
• Comfortable working fully onsite

Strong Plus

• Former founder or founding engineer
• Open-source contributions to AI agents or AI infrastructure
• GovTech or LegalTech experience
• AWS experience
• AI orchestration frameworks
• Strong UI/UX and product mindset
• Experience building AI-native products from scratch
