Python & Generative AI Technical Lead

Job Summary

Synechron is seeking a Python and Generative AI (GenAI) professional with 5+ years of experience in software development and technology delivery. The role will lead cross-functional technology teams, provide technical guidance, drive technology initiatives, and translate business requirements into effective technology solutions. The position will contribute to business objectives by supporting successful project delivery, improving technology processes, evaluating emerging technologies, maintaining technology roadmaps, and ensuring alignment between technology capabilities and overall business strategy.

Software Requirements

Required

• In-depth understanding of various technologies and software systems.
• Strong experience with Python development.
• Working knowledge of Generative AI concepts, applications, and implementation approaches.
• Familiarity with project management tools and methodologies.
• Knowledge of Agile development methodologies.
• Understanding of software architecture and design patterns.
• Knowledge of cloud computing platforms and infrastructure.
• Knowledge of database management systems and data structures.
• Experience with software development lifecycle practices, including requirements analysis, design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
• Familiarity with source control, code review, testing, documentation, and release processes.
• Ability to evaluate technology options and translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Experience using current and supported versions of relevant programming languages, frameworks, libraries, cloud services, databases, and development tools.

Preferred

• Experience developing or integrating Generative AI, machine learning, natural language processing, or large language model solutions.
• Experience with Python-based GenAI frameworks and libraries.
• Knowledge of prompt engineering, embeddings, vector search, retrieval-augmented generation, and model evaluation.
• Experience with cloud-native application development and deployment.
• Familiarity with DevOps, CI/CD, infrastructure automation, monitoring, and observability tools.
• Experience with vector databases and data pipelines.
• Knowledge of secure and responsible AI implementation practices.
• Experience evaluating third-party technologies and managing vendor relationships.

• Support the development of scalable, secure, maintainable, and cost-effective software and GenAI solutions.
• Promote effective engineering practices, knowledge sharing, documentation, and continuous improvement.
• Consider security, operational efficiency, cost management, and sustainability when selecting and implementing technology solutions.
