Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior C++ Software Engineer with 5+ years of hands-on experience in application development. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in modern C++ (multiple standards) along with working knowledge of C#/.NET. Experience in VC++ and MFC, handling memory-constrained applications, and the ability to lead a small team (2–5 members) is essential. This role involves end-to-end ownership of the software development lifecycle, including design, development, optimization, and mentoring.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain high-performance applications using C++.
• Write clean, scalable, and efficient code in C++ and C# (.NET).
• Lead and mentor a team of 2–5 junior developers, ensuring code quality and best practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including QA, Product, and DevOps.
• Participate in architecture and technical design discussions.
• Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback.
• Optimize application performance, memory usage, and CPU efficiency, especially for memory-constrained environments.
• Work on migration and modernization of applications across different C++ versions (e.g., C++11 to C++17/20).
• Analyze, debug, and resolve complex production issues.
• Maintain technical documentation for design and implementation.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Minimum 5+ years of experience in C++ development.
• Strong expertise in C++ (C++11, C++14, C++17, C++20).
• Must have worked on at least 2 end-to-end projects using modern C++ (C++11 or later).
• Proven experience in memory optimization and handling memory-constrained applications.
• Experience in application migration or upgrading codebases across C++ versions.
• Solid experience in C# with .NET Framework / .NET Core (added advantage).
• Hands-on experience with VC++ and MFC (Microsoft Foundation Classes).
• Strong understanding of OOP, data structures, algorithms, and multithreading.
• Experience in team handling / mentoring (2–5 members).
• Proficiency with Visual Studio, Git, and JIRA.
• Good understanding of SDLC and Agile methodologies.
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with Windows APIs, WPF, or WinForms.
• Exposure to cross-platform development.
• Knowledge of performance profiling tools and debugging utilities.
• Experience working with legacy C++ systems and modernization.
• Ability to contribute to system design and architecture decisions.
