Facade Design Manager

Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Facade Design Manager to lead the design and coordination of building facade systems from concept through construction. This role works closely with architects, engineers, consultants, and contractors to deliver high-quality, code-compliant, and constructible facade solutions while supporting project schedules and objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead facade design development, detailing, and technical reviews.
• Review shop drawings, fabrication drawings, and related technical documentation.
• Coordinate facade systems with structural, MEP, and interior design teams.
• Ensure compliance with applicable building codes, project specifications, and performance requirements.
• Manage mock-up, testing, and inspection processes as required by project specifications.
• Support value-engineering efforts and provide practical design solutions.
• Track design progress and coordinate with project teams to meet project milestones.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in facade design, engineering, or coordination.
• Experience with commercial, institutional, mixed-use, or high-rise building projects preferred.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit (BIM), and Rhino or similar design software.
• Strong understanding of curtain wall, window wall, unitized, stick-built, or other facade systems.
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Bilingual English/Chinese communication skills are a plus but not required.

Pay: $80,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
