Role Summary

We are looking for a skilled and independent Content Writer & Script Writer with a strong academic or professional background in Journalism or Mass Communication . The ideal candidate should have excellent writing, research, storytelling, and scriptwriting skills, with the ability to independently manage content from research and ideation through scripting, writing, editing, and final execution .

The candidate will be responsible for developing clear, engaging, well-researched, and audience-focused content across multiple formats and platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct research and develop content ideas based on assigned topics, objectives, and target audiences.
• Independently manage the complete content lifecycle — research, ideation, outlining, writing/scripting, editing, and finalisation .
• Write engaging and well-structured scripts for courses, videos, presentations, social media, and other content formats.
• Develop long-form and short-form written content while maintaining accuracy, clarity, consistency, and brand tone.
• Translate complex concepts into simple, engaging, and easy-to-understand content.
• Collaborate with internal teams, subject matter experts, designers, and video/content teams for content execution.
• Review and edit content for grammar, structure, flow, factual accuracy, and overall quality.
• Ensure content is aligned with the intended objective, audience, format, and communication style.
• Take ownership of assigned content projects and ensure timely completion with minimal supervision.
• Incorporate feedback effectively and make necessary revisions within timelines.
• Maintain consistency in language, tone, terminology, and content standards across all deliverables.
• Stay updated with relevant content trends, storytelling formats, digital platforms, and audience preferences.

Mandatory Qualifications & Skills

• Educational or professional background in Journalism or Mass Communication is mandatory.
• Strong writing and scriptwriting skills are mandatory.
• 3–5 years of relevant experience in content writing, scriptwriting, journalism, media, digital content, or a related field.
• Proven ability to independently handle content projects from research and ideation to final execution .
• Excellent command of English, including grammar, vocabulary, sentence construction, and storytelling.
• Strong research, analytical, and information-gathering skills.
• Ability to structure content logically and communicate complex subjects in a simple and engaging manner.
• Strong editing and proofreading skills.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple assignments, and meet deadlines.

Preferred Background

Candidates with experience in education, consulting, media, publishing, digital content, knowledge platforms, or professional services will be preferred.
