ServiceNow Developer

A media company is seeking a ServiceNow Developer for a hybrid role in New York City. This position focuses on building workflows, integrations, and platform enhancements that support enterprise service management and operational automation.

About the Opportunity:

• Schedule: Monday through Friday (3 days onsite, 2 days remote)

• Setting: Hybrid

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain ServiceNow applications, workflows, forms, portals, and platform customizations.
• Build and support ITSM solutions across incident, change, problem, request fulfillment, and knowledge management processes.
• Develop integrations and automations using REST, SOAP, APIs, Flow Designer, and Integration Hub.
• Support and enhance the CMDB, including configuration item data quality, service visibility, and service mapping initiatives.
• Partner with technical and business stakeholders to improve workflows, streamline operations, and maintain platform governance.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years of hands-on ServiceNow development experience.
• Experience with ServiceNow ITSM, CMDB, Service Catalog, Flow Designer, Integration Hub, and Discovery.
• Experience developing Business Rules, Script Includes, Client Scripts, UI Policies, UI Actions, and REST/SOAP integrations.
• Strong JavaScript development skills.
• Experience supporting enterprise IT operations and service management processes.
• Understanding of cloud infrastructure, infrastructure operations, and enterprise technology environments.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.

Desired Skills:

• Experience with AWS integrations.
• Experience with change management, service mapping, hardware asset management, or software asset management.
• ServiceNow certifications such as CSA or CAD.
• Experience with identity and access management integrations.
• Experience with monitoring and observability platform integrations.

Desired Skills and Experience This is a hybrid role 3x onsite in NYC, no relocation or flex allowed. We are looking for a strong ServiceNow developer with at least 5 years of hands-on development experience. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in ITMS, Request Management, and some exposure to Integrations/Architecture patterns/projects. If you do not have 5 recent years of ServiceNow development experience and you do not live in commuting distance of NYC, please do not apply.
