About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Senior Software Engineer with strong expertise in the MERN Stack and hands-on experience in Release Engineering and DevOps practices.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing scalable applications, working with cloud infrastructure, and contributing to reliable software releases through CI/CD and automation.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications using the MERN Stack.
• Work extensively with MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, and Node.js.
• Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and backend services.
• Work with PostgreSQL and MongoDB databases.
• Deploy and manage applications on AWS.
• Work with Docker and Kubernetes for containerization and orchestration.
• Build, maintain, and improve CI/CD pipelines.
• Manage source code and version control using Git.
• Automate build, deployment, testing, and release processes.
• Collaborate with development, QA, DevOps, and product teams to ensure smooth releases.
• Troubleshoot production issues and support application deployments.
• Follow DevOps best practices for scalability, reliability, and automation.
• Contribute to Release Engineering, including release planning, deployment, versioning, and production rollouts.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with:
• JavaScript
• React.js
• Node.js
• Express.js
• MongoDB
• Good experience with PostgreSQL.
• Hands-on experience with AWS.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Strong understanding of DevOps practices.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation.
• Strong knowledge of Git/version control systems.
• Experience in Release Engineering / software release management.
• Good understanding of software development lifecycle and deployment processes.
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.

Preferred Background

• Candidates from Product-based / SaaS companies are preferred.
• Experience working with scalable, cloud-based applications.
• Experience with microservices architecture is an advantage.
• Experience handling production deployments and release cycles is preferred.
