A leading global asset manager is seeking an experienced AI Product Owner to join its Data Architecture function in New York. This is a high-impact role within a global business, focused on defining and delivering the firm’s AI and automation capabilities across investment managemen

t.The successful candidate will sit at the intersection of AI, data, technology and the investment business, working closely with investment teams, data architects, engineers and senior stakeholders to identify opportunities where AI and automation can deliver meaningful business value.

Key responsibilities will include defining and managing the AI product roadmap, translating investment and business requirements into scalable data and AI solutions, and overseeing products through the full lifecycle from ideation and prioritisation through to implementation and adoption.

You will identify opportunities to automate manual and data-intensive processes, leverage AI and machine learning to enhance investment workflows, and ensure solutions are built on robust, well-governed data architecture. The role will also involve working closely with global technology and data teams to establish reusable AI capabilities and drive consistency across the organisation.

Key requirements:

• Proven experience as an AI Product Owner, AI Product Manager, Data Product Owner or sim ilar.
• Strong understanding of AI, machine learning, GenAI and automation technologies.
• Experience working within data architecture, data platforms or enterprise data environments.
• Strong understanding of investment management, including portfolio management, trading, research, risk or related functions.
• Demonstrable experience translating business problems into technology and data-driven solutions.
• Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence senior investment and technology stakeholders.
• Experience working within large, complex and globally distributed organisations.
• Strong understanding of data governance, architecture and the practical application of AI within an enterprise environment.
