Sales and Customer Service Representative

About the role

Are you a customer-focused person with a passion for sales and a great attitude? Esperance Metaland is looking for a full-time Sales & Customer Service Representative to join our growing team in Esperance, WA.

This is a varied, customer-facing role where you’ll help customers find the right products, prepare quotes, process sales and provide excellent service from enquiry through to completion. Steel industry experience is not essential — we’re happy to train the right person.

This is a residential position and applicants must currently reside in Esperance, WA.

What you’ll be doing

• Assisting customers in-store, over the phone and via email
• Understanding customer needs and recommending suitable products
• Preparing quotes and processing sales
• Following up enquiries and supporting customers throughout the sales process
• Providing friendly and professional customer service
• Working closely with the wider team to ensure customers receive a great experience
• Maintaining accurate sales and customer records

What we’re looking for

• Previous experience in sales, customer service or a similar customer-facing role
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Good computer skills and basic numeracy
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
• A positive attitude and willingness to learn
• Steel industry experience is an advantage, but not essential — training will be provided for the right person
