Role Description

This is a full-time remote role for a Full Stack Software Engineer / Developer. The developer will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining scalable web applications, APIs, and backend systems. The role involves working with technologies such as Python, React, Node.js, PostgreSQL, FastAPI, REST APIs, and other modern frameworks and libraries. The developer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to build secure, efficient, and user-friendly software solutions for real-world business needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable full stack web applications
• Build responsive and user-friendly frontend interfaces using React
• Develop backend services and APIs using Python, FastAPI, and Node.js
• Create and manage relational databases using PostgreSQL
• Design, build, and integrate RESTful APIs
• Write clean, efficient, reusable, and well-documented code
• Debug, test, and optimize applications for performance and reliability
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other developers
• Integrate third-party APIs, libraries, and external services
• Ensure applications follow security, performance, and scalability best practices
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement
• Stay up to date with modern software development tools, frameworks, and industry trends

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of Python and backend development
• Experience with FastAPI, Flask, Django, or similar Python frameworks
• Experience with React.js and modern frontend development
• Knowledge of Node.js and JavaScript/TypeScript
• Strong understanding of REST API design and integration
• Experience working with PostgreSQL or other relational databases
• Good understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and responsive design
• Familiarity with Git, GitHub/GitLab, and version control workflows
• Ability to write clean, maintainable, and scalable code
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field is preferred

Desirable Skills

• Experience with TypeScript
• Knowledge of Docker and containerized applications
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
• Experience with authentication systems, JWT, OAuth, or role-based access control
• Knowledge of ORMs such as SQLAlchemy, Prisma, or Sequelize
• Experience with testing frameworks such as Pytest, Jest, or React Testing Library
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and deployment workflows
• Experience with Agile development practices
