Job Description
Job Title: CAD Operator
Location: Hauppauge, NY
Duration: 6 Months Contract
We are seeking a detail-oriented CAD Operator to support the design team in preparing construction drawings for low-voltage systems such as fire alarm, security, and access control.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create and update AutoCAD drawings including floor plans, riser diagrams, and wiring layouts
- Prepare submittal documents (data sheets, calculations)
- Maintain drawing files, records, and as-built documentation
Requirements:
- Proficiency in AutoCAD (2014 or newer)
- Experience in construction-related drafting (electrical or mechanical preferred)
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Familiarity with MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
