Project Manager

Fast-paced digital agency, Reusser, is seeking an energetic, experienced, and highly organized Project Manager to help run our small but mighty team.

This person will be working closely with our clients, and with our team, to ensure projects run smoothly so our team members can focus on their work.

The right person must be able to understand technical information, translate it effectively for the client, and vice versa by interpreting a client’s requirements and wishes to our team.

About the Job:

• This role is expected to own the Project Management Processes at Reusser, and will be tasked with creating structure and refining processes within the organization.
• The Project Manager will be responsible for owning project meetings with stakeholders as well as internal meetings with Account Managers and other members of the Project Team. This person will be documenting client needs, communicating tasks to the appropriate teams, and following up to ensure items are properly addressed.
• The Project Manager will need to create project plans, milestones, status reports, and other documentation relevant to project completion. Additionally, this person will communicate deadlines and project information effectively to all members of project teams through collaborative online tools (like Teamwork), as well as email.
• The Project Manager will be given the autonomy to collaborate with the team and exceed client expectations of success.
• The Project Manager will be responsible for establishing clear lines of communication between the client and the team, and is the single source of truth for all aspects of the project.
• The Project Manager’s teammates are the best at what they do. Their success means our success. This person will help clear the way of obstacles and do whatever is needed to help them deliver their best work.
• The Project Manager will work on-site with the rest of the team at our office in Roanoke, IN on Monday and Thursday and will have the flexibility to be remote Tuesday and Wednesday.

About You:

• 3+ years in project management experience.
• 2+ years working in Project Management Software Tools (AzureDevOps, Teamwork, or any comparable tool)
• Excellent communicator who can oversee all facets of our projects while seamlessly managing budgets and timelines for multiple projects at once.
• Based in the Fort Wayne area or plan to be in the near future.
• Experience working in client services.
• Attentive to the details and understand how to graciously give feedback.
• Empathetic, professional, and charismatic communicator who can speak directly without ego.
• Can work on projects that are either agile or waterfall.
• “That’s not my job” is not in your vocabulary.
• Organized. Super-organized. You LOVE being organized.
• Exceed with a level of autonomy not found in most companies.
• Self-starter with an entrepreneurial spirit.

Bonus Points:

• Having certifications in project management (PMP, CSPO, SCRUM)
• Being able to discuss a recent project that failed or succeeded, with the understanding of why and how you’ve learned or grown from this experience.
• Having client references from past clients that loved you.
• Having employer references that are still recovering from your absence.
• Having prior agency, design, or development specific experience.
• Experience in Agile/SCRUM
