Position: Senior Azure Solution Architect
Location: New York, NY (Hybrid – 2–3 days onsite per week)
Duration: 12+ Months Contract
Interview: In-Person
Work Authorization: USC, GC, GC EAD, H4 EAD, H1B (Local candidates only)
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement end-to-end Azure cloud solutions.
- Architect scalable web applications, APIs, and microservices.
- Develop secure cloud solutions using Azure services and DevSecOps practices.
- Lead cloud modernization and enterprise architecture initiatives.
- Build CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code using Terraform/Bicep.
- Collaborate with engineering, infrastructure, cybersecurity, and business teams.
Required Skills:
- 8+ years of Solution/Cloud Architecture experience.
- 5+ years of hands-on Microsoft Azure Architecture.
- Strong experience with Azure App Services, AKS, Azure Functions, API Management, Azure SQL, Cosmos DB, Storage, and Monitor.
- Experience with C#, .NET, HTML, CSS, JavaScript/jQuery.
- Experience with React or Angular.
- Strong knowledge of REST APIs, Microservices, Kubernetes, and DevOps.
- Hands-on experience with Terraform or Bicep and Azure DevOps/GitHub Actions.
- Experience with Azure Entra ID, Key Vault, Defender for Cloud, and Microsoft Sentinel.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred:
- Azure Solutions Architect Expert Certification.
- Utility or Energy industry experience.
- Experience with Hybrid Cloud and Enterprise Architecture.
