Full Stack Software Developer

Tempest Vane Partners have partnered with a newly launched hedge fund who are establishing a strong name for themselves across the global financial markets space. Backed by one of the world’s leading investment firms, they are growing their technology team and looking for a Full Stack Software Developer to join their operations development team in New York.

The successful applicant will be responsible for building a brand new operations platform used by users across the firm, presenting an exciting opportunity to work on a Greenfield project using the latest technologies. Strong development experience across both frontend and backend is required to be considered for this role, alongside prior experience working in financial services.

Key Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science or similar field
• 3-6 years of Full Stack software development experience
• Strong Python development skills, including experience building REST API’s
• Extensive UI development experience with React/Typescript
• Familiarity with modern cloud and open source technologies such as Snowflake, AWS RDS / Postgres / MySQL and Git
• Experience working in financial services and knowledge of financial instruments (desirable)
