Role Overview
This is a 6 month contract position that functions as a strategic architect focused on modernizing the firm’s operational infrastructure and future-proofing its proprietary systems. No C2C is considered for this W2/1099 role.
Core Responsibilities
- Designing agentic workflows and unifying data layers to resolve operational latency between investment teams and execution engines.
- Automating complex operations, such as trade life cycles and over-the-counter (OTC) data ingestion, to eliminate back-office friction.
- Supporting the firm’s broader expansion into physical AI and logistics-heavy markets.
- Balancing technical execution with high-level workflow design to keep the firm agile within a multi-strategy investment environment.
Qualifications & Skills
- Based in NYC
- Deep experience designing system architecture, automated data pipelines, and agentic AI/ML workflows within financial services or trading operations.
- Strong understanding of capital markets, multi-strategy investment setups, trade life cycles, and OTC derivatives ingestion.
- Proven track record of balancing high-level workflow design with hands-on technical implementation.
- Ability to identify operational bottlenecks and engineer robust, low-latency automation solutions.
