**Job Overview** We are seeking a skilled and dependable Carpenter / Laborer to join our construction team. This role involves working on various residential, commercial, and restoration projects, requiring a versatile skill set in carpentry and general labor. The ideal candidate will have experience in construction environments, be comfortable with heavy lifting, and possess a strong work ethic to contribute to high-quality project completion. We mostly do wood framing for residential. **Duties** - Measure, cut, assemble, and install framing, trim, cabinetry, and fixtures using hand tools and power tools - Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to ensure accurate project execution - Perform concrete forming, rebar installation, masonry work, roofing, siding, and stucco application as needed - Assist with demolition, water damage restoration, mold remediation, and other restoration industry tasks - Install doors, windows, flooring, tile, drywall (including plastering), and perform remodeling tasks - Handle heavy lifting of materials and equipment safely throughout the job site - Fabricate components on-site or in the shop using woodworking or metalworking techniques - Apply caulking, construction painting, fixture installation, electrical wiring (if qualified), plumbing (if qualified), and other finishing work - Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols at all times **Qualifications** - Proven experience in construction or related fields such as framing, trim carpentry, roofing, or remodeling - Ability to read blueprints and schematics accurately - Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, CNC equipment (preferred), and fabrication techniques - Knowledge of various construction disciplines including masonry, electrical work, plumbing, siding installation, and water damage restoration is a plus - Strong physical stamina for heavy lifting and working at heights or in confined spaces - Experience with metal stud framing, drywall finishing (including plastering), tile laying, flooring installation, cabinetry installation, door hanging, and fixture setup preferred - Ability to work independently or as part of a team on diverse projects - Valid driver’s license is desirable for site travel; own transportation is advantageous - Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail in all aspects of construction work - This position offers an opportunity to develop a broad skill set within the construction industry while contributing to meaningful projects across various sectors.
