Job Description
RTO Administration Assistant
Remote Australia Based Full Time $70,000 to $80,000 plus superJoin a Small National Team Making a Big Impact
Industry Training Alliance (ITA) is a growing Registered Training Organisation delivering practical, nationally recognised training across Australia.
We specialise in industry connected training with a strong focus on surveying, spatial sciences and workforce capability. Our work helps build skilled, job ready professionals for industries that keep Australia moving.
We are a small, dynamic and highly committed national team. That means this is not a narrow “do one thing all day” administration role.
We are looking for an experienced all rounder who enjoys variety, can manage competing priorities, communicates well, takes initiative and helps keep things moving in a busy operational environment.
If you enjoy being trusted, solving problems, juggling multiple tasks and being part of a team where your contribution genuinely matters, this role could be a great fit.
About the Role
This is a varied and hands on role supporting the day to day operations of a busy national RTO.
Working closely with the RTO Administrator and broader ITA team, you will support student administration, course coordination, systems management, stakeholder communication and general operational activities.
No two days are exactly the same. One moment you may be assisting a student, updating records or coordinating course administration, and the next you may be helping resolve an operational issue, supporting payment administration or assisting with workflow coordination.
Success in this role comes from being organised, practical, adaptable and willing to jump in where needed.
This role is attached to our Sydney head office, however it is a remote position and applicants may be based anywhere in Australia.
What We’re Looking For
You are someone who:
- enjoys working in a fast paced and evolving environment
- can confidently manage multiple priorities at once
- communicates clearly and professionally
- is highly organised and detail focused
- takes ownership and follows tasks through
- stays calm under pressure and adapts when priorities shift
- enjoys supporting people and contributing to team success
- is comfortable working across a broad mix of administration and operational activities
You will also bring:
- 5+ years experience in administration, customer service or student support, preferably within a fast paced or regulated environment
- strong skills using Microsoft Office, Teams, Outlook, SharePoint, AI Platforms and business systems
- the ability to handle confidential information professionally
- Australian citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain a National Police Clearance
Experience working within an RTO or education environment will be highly regarded.
