AWS Backend Developer

We are seeking a skilled AWS Backend Developer to our banking client and help build scalable, cloud-native applications. The ideal candidate will have strong experience developing serverless solutions using AWS Lambda , Node.js , and AWS messaging services, with a solid understanding of cloud security and best practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Node.js and AWS Lambda .
• Build and support event-driven and serverless applications on AWS.
• Implement and manage integrations using AWS SQS and other AWS services.
• Develop secure and scalable APIs and backend components.
• Configure and maintain AWS IAM roles, policies, and permissions following security best practices.
• Troubleshoot, optimize, and enhance application performance, reliability, and scalability.
• Collaborate with architects, DevOps engineers, and business stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployment activities.

Required Skills

• Strong hands-on experience with Node.js backend development.
• Experience developing serverless applications using AWS Lambda .
• Experience with AWS SQS and event-driven architectures.
• Solid understanding of AWS IAM , security principles, and access management.
• Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs.
• Familiarity with Git and CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.

Nice to Have

• Experience with API Gateway, DynamoDB, SNS, EventBridge, or Step Functions.
• Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, AWS CDK, or CloudFormation).
• Experience with container technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience working in Agile environments.
• Financial services or banking industry experience.
