Job Overview

We are seeking an accomplished .NET / AI Solution Architect with 15+ years of experience designing and delivering enterprise-scale applications using .NET, Angular, React, Azure, and the Microsoft technology stack.

The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in enterprise application architecture, cloud-native solutions, application modernization, integration patterns, security, and digital transformation. The candidate should also have hands-on experience using GitHub Copilot, Claude, and other generative AI technologies to accelerate solution design, improve engineering productivity, automate development processes, and drive innovation.

This role requires strong consulting and advisory skills to guide clients and stakeholders in defining technology roadmaps, solution strategies, and architecture decisions.

Key ResponsibilitiesSolution Architecture and Design

• Lead the end-to-end architecture and design of enterprise applications using .NET, Angular, React, Azure, REST APIs, and microservices.
• Define application, integration, security, data, and infrastructure architectures.
• Create architecture blueprints, solution design documents, reference architectures, and technical roadmaps.
• Design scalable, secure, resilient, maintainable, and high-performing solutions.
• Ensure solutions align with business objectives and enterprise architecture standards.
• Evaluate existing applications and recommend modernization, migration, integration, or re-engineering strategies.
• Define reusable architecture patterns, development standards, and engineering best practices.
• Provide technical leadership throughout the complete software development lifecycle.

AI-Driven Solution Engineering

• Design and recommend AI-enabled architectures using Microsoft Copilot, GitHub Copilot, Claude, and other generative AI technologies.
• Identify opportunities to integrate AI capabilities into business processes and enterprise applications.
• Define responsible AI-assisted software engineering practices for development teams.
• Use Copilot, Claude, and similar tools to accelerate:
• Solution design and architecture documentation
• Code generation and rapid prototyping
• Impact analysis and design reviews
• Test strategy development
• Technical documentation
• Evaluate emerging AI technologies and recommend practical adoption strategies that deliver measurable business value.
• Establish guidelines for the secure and responsible use of AI-assisted development tools.

Consulting and Technical Leadership

• Work closely with clients, business leaders, product teams, and engineering teams to understand business and technical requirements.
• Advise stakeholders on technology strategy, architecture decisions, application modernization, and cloud adoption.
• Present proposed solutions, architecture options, risks, and trade-offs to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Lead architecture reviews and ensure successful implementation of approved designs.
• Mentor developers, technical leads, and engineering teams.
• Support project planning, technical estimation, risk management, and delivery governance.

Required Qualifications

• 15+ years of experience in enterprise software development and solution architecture.
• Extensive experience with C#, ASP.NET Core, .NET 6/7/8, Web APIs, and microservices.
• Strong front-end architecture experience with Angular or React.
• Deep knowledge of Microsoft Azure and cloud-native application architecture.
• Experience defining application, integration, security, data, and infrastructure architectures.
• Strong experience with RESTful APIs, enterprise integrations, and distributed systems.
• Proven experience with application modernization and digital transformation initiatives.
• Hands-on experience using GitHub Copilot, Microsoft Copilot, Claude, or similar generative AI tools.
• Understanding of AI-assisted development practices, responsible AI usage, and enterprise AI adoption.
• Experience creating architecture blueprints, technical roadmaps, and solution design documents.
• Strong consulting, client-facing, communication, presentation, and stakeholder-management skills.
• Ability to provide technical leadership and guide cross-functional development teams.
• Ability to work onsite in New Jersey three days per week.
