Location: Farmingdale, NY Category: Professional Part-Time Job Type: Part-time Posted On: Thu Jul 9 2026 Job Description: The Department of Urban Horticulture and Design is currently seeking part-time Instructional Support Assistants to assist with its lab sections. Responsibilities will include setting up laboratory equipment and materials prior to a laboratory session, preparing solutions and plant materials as needed, assisting faculty and students during laboratory sessions, and cleaning up after the laboratory session is complete.
Job Requirements REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- A Bachelor’s degree in horticulture, plant science, biology, or a related field.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience managing lab sections and working with students and faculty.
