Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Backend Developer (Django) role based in Abuja. The person in this role will design, develop, and maintain server-side applications and APIs using Django and related Python frameworks. Day-to-day responsibilities include implementing new features, optimizing database queries, ensuring application performance and security, and integrating third-party services. The backend developer will collaborate with front-end developers, product managers, and designers to translate requirements into robust technical solutions, write clean and testable code, and participate in code reviews. The role also involves troubleshooting issues in production, contributing to architectural decisions, and documenting backend services and processes.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong backend development skills, including Python programming and Django framework experience.
• Candidates should possess skills in database design and management, such as working with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and writing efficient queries.
• Candidates should possess skills in API development and integration, including RESTful services, authentication, and data serialization.
