Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Metal Framer to join our growing team. This position involves installing and assembling interior metal framing systems, suspended ceiling systems, and specialty architectural components on a variety of commercial construction projects.

The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and capable of working both independently and alongside a crew in a fast-paced construction environment.

Responsibilities

• Install interior metal stud framing systems according to blueprints and specifications
• Build soffits, bulkheads, backing, and specialty framing assemblies
• Install suspended acoustical ceiling systems (ACT)
• Assist with custom metal ceiling installations and architectural ceiling systems
• Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, layouts, and project specifications
• Operate power tools, lasers, lifts, and layout equipment safely and efficiently
• Measure, cut, and assemble framing materials accurately
• Maintain high-quality workmanship while meeting production schedules
• Follow OSHA and jobsite safety requirements at all times
• Maintain clean and organized work areas
• Work collaboratively with project managers, foremen, and crew members

Skills

• Experience with interior metal stud framing
• Experience installing acoustical ceiling tile (ACT) systems
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints
• Knowledge of suspended ceiling grid systems
• Experience building soffits, bulkheads, and specialty framing
• Ability to use laser levels and layout tools
• Understanding of commercial construction practices
• Experience with custom metal ceiling systems preferred
• Ability to work independently and with a crew
• Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship
• Reliable transportation and strong work ethic
• Ability to lift materials and work on ladders/lifts
• OSHA and jobsite safety awareness
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Ability to maintain clean and organized work areas

Pay: $22.00 - $40.00 per hour
