Our client is a venture-backed AI startup tackling one of the hardest data problems in their industry. Their platform already powers hundreds of customers and some of the biggest names in AI, with demand growing rapidly after a major strategic partnership announced this year.

This isn’t another chatbot company. You’ll be building the data and infrastructure layer that enables frontier AI systems to reason over millions of complex documents at scale.

What you’ll work on

• Build large-scale Python data pipelines that enrich and connect millions of documents
• Design systems that automatically extract structured metadata using AI rather than manual review
• Own highly reliable ingestion platforms and web scraping infrastructure
• Develop APIs, MCP servers and real-time services powering AI products
• Improve search, retrieval and evaluation systems using modern LLM tooling
• Help shape technical architecture as one of a small team of highly experienced engineers

What we’re looking for

• Strong Python engineer with excellent backend fundamentals
• Experience building production software in a startup or high-growth technology company
• Comfortable owning products and infrastructure from idea through deployment
• Experience with distributed systems, APIs and data pipelines
• Familiar with modern AI tooling, LLMs and agentic workflows
• Engineers who enjoy building side projects and experimenting with new technology outside work are especially encouraged to apply
