ServiceNow Engineer / Developer

Swoon is actively hiring a ServiceNow Engineer/Developer to join the team!

What your day-to-day will look like?

• Design, develop, and implement scalable solutions on the ServiceNow platform using JavaScript, Glide APIs, and core platform frameworks
• Build and enhance custom applications, workflows, business rules, UI policies, and integrations to support enterprise ITSM and business processes
• Configure and extend core ServiceNow modules including Incident, Problem, Change, Service Catalog, and CMDB
• Develop and maintain integrations between ServiceNow and external systems using REST, SOAP, APIs, and MID Server
• Administer the ServiceNow platform, including user access, roles, instance management, upgrades, and overall platform health
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex platform issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement long-term solutions to improve system performance and stability
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to gather requirements, deliver technical solutions, and ensure a high-quality user experience across the platform

What’s Required / Technical Skills

• 5+ years of hands-on ServiceNow development experience, including building and delivering end-to-end solutions in enterprise environments
• ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) required and willingness/ability to obtain Certified Application Developer (CAD) within 90 days
• Strong JavaScript and Glide framework expertise, with proven ability to write custom scripts (not just configure low-code solutions)
• Deep experience with ServiceNow scripting and platform components, including business rules, client/server scripts, Flow Designer, and integrations
• Hands-on experience with CMDB, Service Catalog, and core ITSM modules (Incident, Problem, Change)
• Experience integrating ServiceNow with external systems using REST/SOAP APIs, along with strong understanding of data structures and system interactions
• Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to work directly with stakeholders and operate in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment

Hourly Rate - $65 - $75 an hour
