WELLNESS & EXECUTIVE ASSISTANT (Ideal for Nursing, PA, PT, OT, or Pre-Med Students)

Location: Orange, CA Pay: $25/hour (negotiable if experienced or nurse looking for a change)

Schedule: Monday, Wednesday, Friday Hours can be flexible

I’m Carley, the current assistant to Dr. E, a retired surgeon and HeartMath professional living with MS. Working with her has been an incredibly rewarding experience. Dr. E is kind, flexible, and genuinely invested in helping those around her learn. I’ve gained valuable insight into healthcare, wellness, and life through my time with her.

Dr. E is looking for someone to take over my role as I return to school. This is a unique opportunity to learn from an experienced physician while making a meaningful difference in someone’s daily life.

About the Role

This is a hands-on, fast-paced position supporting a retired surgeon and HeartMath professional. Dr. Endres is independent but uses a walker due to left-sided weakness. Your role is to be her “legs,” helping her stay active, maintain her daily routines, and assist with household tasks so she can focus on her health and professional work.

This position is ideal for someone who is proactive, energetic, organized, detail-oriented, compassionate, and eager to learn.

Key Responsibilities

Wellness Support

• Encourage movement and physical activity throughout the day.
• Assist with sit-to-stand exercises and basic therapy routines.
• Help with wellness equipment, including PEMF, Stim Pod, infrared sauna, a shiatsu foot massager, and red light therapy.
• Prepare smoothies and simple healthy meals.
• Help ensure supplements are taken consistently.
• Gently encourage good posture throughout the day to help manage scoliosis.
• Accompany Dr. E to appointments as needed.
• Provide consistent, positive encouragement and accountability.

Household Management

• Be Dr. E’s “legs” by completing household tasks efficiently.
• Receive her friendly dog, Lily, when she returns home from her walk.
• Organize household spaces and help keep the home running smoothly.

Ideal Candidate

• Fluent in English
• Physically active and comfortable being on your feet.
• Highly proactive, organized, and detail-oriented.
• Warm, compassionate, and confident encouraging someone to stay consistent with healthy habits.
• Strong interest in health, wellness, and nutrition.
• Experience in personal assisting, healthcare, coaching, or household management is preferred.
