Duties

• Develop, test, and deploy high-quality Java applications aligned with project requirements and best practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design system architecture that ensures scalability, security, and maintainability.
• Implement RESTful APIs and integrate with various web services using JavaScript frameworks such as React or Angular for front-end development.
• Contribute to system design discussions, applying design patterns and microservices architecture principles to optimize performance.
• Utilize version control tools like GitHub or SVN to manage code repositories effectively within an Agile development cycle.
• Participate in CI/CD pipelines to automate testing and deployment processes, ensuring rapid delivery of features.
• Work with cloud infrastructure providers such as AWS to deploy and manage scalable applications in a secure environment.

Requirements

• Proven experience in software development with strong proficiency in Java programming language.
• Solid understanding of IT infrastructure concepts including cloud services (AWS), Linux environments, and network protocols.
• Hands-on experience with Ruby on Rails is a plus for backend integration tasks.
• Familiarity with RESTful API development, SQL databases like MySQL or SQL Server, and system design for scalable systems.
• Knowledge of front-end technologies including JavaScript frameworks such as React or Angular for full-stack development.
• Experience working within Agile software development methodologies and using version control systems like Git or SVN.
• Strong grasp of software engineering principles including design patterns, microservices architecture, scalability strategies, and security best practices such as RBAC (Role-Based Access Control).

Pay: Up to $70,000.00 per year
