Job Description
- Lead the design, development, and deployment of scalable data engineering solutions on AWS.
- Develop and optimize ETL/ELT pipelines using PySpark for large-scale data processing.
- Write complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and performance tuning for data warehouses.
- Build and manage data lakes using Amazon S3 with secure and efficient data storage practices.
- Automate cloud infrastructure provisioning using Terraform following Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles.
- Design, implement, and optimize AWS-based data architectures for high availability and scalability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver robust data solutions.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize data pipelines and cloud infrastructure performance.
- Implement security, governance, and best practices across AWS services and data platforms.
- Mentor junior engineers, conduct code reviews, and ensure adherence to coding standards.
- Work with CI/CD pipelines and version control tools to support automated deployments.
- Strong understanding of AWS services, PySpark, SQL, S3, Terraform, and data engineering best practices with excellent problem-solving and leadership skills.
