Job Description
Company Description Agite.ai builds AI Sales Pods for founder-led B2B teams that need more pipeline without increasing traditional sales headcount. These pods are powered by digital sales employees who manage prospecting, outreach, reply handling, meeting booking, call preparation, CRM updates, and follow-up drafts. Agite.ai ensures sales teams arrive to calls fully prepared, follow up promptly, and maintain accurate CRM data. This allows lean B2B teams selling high-ticket, consultative deals to focus on high-value sales conversations and closing, rather than administrative tasks and pipeline chasing.
Role Description The AI Development Lead is a full-time, on-site role based in the New York City Metropolitan Area. This role is responsible for leading the design, development, and deployment of AI-powered systems that drive Agite.ai’s digital sales employees and Sales Pods. Day-to-day responsibilities include defining technical architectures, building and optimizing machine learning and automation workflows, integrating AI capabilities with CRM and outreach tools, and collaborating closely with product, sales, and operations teams to refine requirements. The AI Development Lead will mentor engineers, establish best practices for model development and evaluation, and ensure solutions are reliable, secure, and performant in production. The role also involves ongoing experimentation, monitoring system performance, and iterating on features to improve sales productivity and user experience.
