Senior Network Engineer

Role Description The Senior Network Engineer will design, implement, and manage scalable, secure, and highly available network infrastructures that support modern technology and DevOps environments. Day-to-day responsibilities include configuring and maintaining routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs; monitoring network performance; diagnosing and resolving connectivity issues; and improving network reliability and security. The role also involves collaborating with cross-functional engineering teams, contributing to architecture decisions, documenting network topologies and standards, and supporting network-related aspects of product deployments and releases. This is a full-time hybrid role based in Hyderabad, with a mix of on-site and work-from-home flexibility.

Qualifications

• Strong skills in Network Engineering and Network Design for complex, scalable, and secure infrastructures.
• Proficiency in Network Administration and Troubleshooting to maintain performance, availability, and rapid incident resolution.
• Hands-on experience with Network Security, including firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, and best practices for securing cloud and on-prem environments.
• Experience with enterprise networking technologies (e.g., Cisco, Juniper, Fortinet, Palo Alto) and common protocols (TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, VLAN, MPLS).
• Familiarity with cloud networking (AWS, Azure, GCP), SDN, and automation tools (Ansible, Terraform, scripting in Python or Bash) is highly beneficial.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, startup-oriented environment, collaborate with DevOps and software engineering teams, and communicate clearly with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience; relevant certifications (e.g., CCNP, CCIE, JNCIP, security-focused credentials) are a plus.
