Software Engineer – React

About the Role:

We’re looking for a React Developer with 3–4 years of professional experience to join our engineering team in Bangalore. You’ll be responsible for building and maintaining performant, scalable, and user-friendly web applications, collaborating closely with designers, backend engineers, and product managers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop new user-facing features using React.js and modern JavaScript/TypeScript
• Build reusable components and front-end libraries for future use
• Translate designs and wireframes into high-quality, responsive code
• Optimize components for maximum performance across devices and browsers
• Integrate with RESTful APIs
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to engineering best practices
• Debug and resolve production issues in a timely manner
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (design, backend, QA, product) in an agile environment
• Write and maintain unit/integration tests to ensure code quality

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 3–4 years of hands-on experience with React.js in a production environment
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and CSS3
• Experience with React Hooks, Context API, and modern functional components
• Familiarity with state management libraries (Redux, Zustand, Recoil, or similar)
• Experience consuming REST APIs; familiarity with GraphQL is a plus
• Understanding of responsive design and cross-browser compatibility
• Experience with version control systems (Git)
• Familiarity with build tools (Webpack, Vite) and package managers (npm/yarn)
• Basic understanding of CI/CD pipelines
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Good communication skills and ability to work in a team environment

Good to Have:

• Experience with TypeScript
• Familiarity with testing frameworks (Jest, React Testing Library, Cypress)
• Exposure to Next.js or other React frameworks
• Basic understanding of backend technologies (Node.js)
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies
