After School Coding & AI Teacher

Do you love working with kids? Do you want to make a change in the education system? Whether you are a coding expert or just starting, we provide training and mentorship to help you become an awesome After School Teacher.

About You:

-You absolutely love working with kids. The feeling when you help a student have a “lightbulb moment” is the best thing ever.

-You believe in alternative education and may have ranted about the flaws in our current education system within the past 48 hours.

-You approach teaching with joy and a positive mindset.

-Being late or missing class is a foreign concept to you.

-You are comfortable committing to a consistent weekly schedule.

-You have some previous experience with coding and/or AI tools or you’re genuinely eager to learn both.

-You’re excited to teach kids not just how to code, but how to use, understand, and think critically about AI.

-You are a lifelong learner and are insatiably curious about where technology is headed.

About the Role:

-We’re hiring after-school teachers for our coding and AI programs across Manhattan, Brooklyn, Westchester, and Long Island, and the Bronx, starting in September 2026.

-You’ll teach students to build real projects with code and to explore emerging tools in artificial intelligence, from how AI works to how to use it responsibly and creatively.

-You’ll commit to weekly classes from September 2026 through January 2027 at a minimum (we’re off for major school holidays & breaks). Priority is given to teachers who can commit for the entire school year.

-You’ll need to be available 2-5 days per week to teach a 60- or 90-minute class that typically starts between 3:00-4:00pm and ends between 5:00-6:00pm, depending on the location.

-You may have the opportunity to teach additional classes outside this window, including in-school opportunities and private lessons.

-Some of our Brooklyn programming is in South Brooklyn. The ability to travel there a few days per week and general travel flexibility is a big plus.
