Software Engineer – Test Automation (2-5 Years of experience in automation testing)

As a Software Engineer, you will lead software design, implementation, and delivery in the Connected Services organization’s ambiguous and complex problem spaces. You will work with stakeholders across Stellantis, such as product and program management and UX teams. You will influence the technology decisions that drive future products and features directly affecting our growth in this critical space. Connected Services builds technology to enable always-connected and up-to-date services via regular over-the-air (OTA) updates, keeping vehicles fresh, exciting, and updated years after they have been built - 34 million connected Stellantis cars are expected by 2030, and we aim to have all new vehicles to be fully OTA capable by 2024. We work backward from delightful and productive customer experiences and build a software services platform to enable the development of value-added customer services, subscriptions, and features on demand, to enable Stellantis’ goal of generating 20 billion euros in software-related revenue by 2030.

Responsibilities :

1. Test Automation Leadership: Lead and drive the test automation strategy, advocating best practices, and implementing efficient testing frameworks.
2. Framework Development: Design and develop scalable and maintainable test automation frameworks using TestNG, Selenium, Rest Assured, and Cucumber for web and API testing.
3. Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD): Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins for automated testing and deployment.
4. Dependency Management: Utilize JFrog or similar tools for artifact repository management and efficient dependency handling.
5. Version Control and Collaboration: Proficiently use Git for version control, branching strategies, and collaborative development within the testing team.
6. Reporting and Analysis: Implement Allure Report or similar tools to generate comprehensive test reports and perform in-depth analysis of test results.
7. Mentoring and Training: Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members on test automation best practices and tools.
8. Test Strategy Enhancement: Contribute to improving the overall testing strategy, suggesting improvements, and implementing new testing techniques.
9. Integration Testing: Collaborate with development teams to create and maintain integration tests ensuring end-to-end system functionality.

Requirements :

1. Hands-on experience in Test Automation Engineering with a focus on TestNG, Selenium, Rest Assured, Cucumber, Apache Maven, Jenkins, JFrog, Git, and Allure Report.
2. Framework Development: Proven experience in designing and implementing scalable test automation frameworks for web and API testing.
3. CI/CD Implementation: Strong understanding and practical experience in setting up and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins.
4. Version Control: Proficient with Git for version control, branching, and merging strategies within a testing context.
5. Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze test results, identify issues, and provide solutions in complex systems.
6. Collaboration: Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
7. Leadership Abilities: Demonstrated leadership skills in guiding and mentoring team members in test automation.
8. Certifications: Relevant certifications in Test Automation, Selenium, or other related tools/frameworks.
9. Experience with other Testing Tools: Familiarity with additional testing tools and frameworks beyond the specified set.

Preferred Qualification:

1. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in computer science or related field; a Master’s degree is advantageous.
2. Experience with billing and revenue management (BRM) systems, particularly Zuora.
3. Experience with customer relationship management (CRM) systems, particularly Salesforce.
4. Experience tracking to DORA metrics and Objective and Key Results (OKR)
5. Proficiency in one or more of the following technologies:

Angular, Front-end technologies (HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and Typescript), Drupal, Node.js, JavaScript, AWS ( ECS, S3, Route53, caching mechanisms, CloudFront, DynamoDB, and AWS CodeStar services), SQL and NoSQL databases( MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or DynamoDB)
