Job Description
Company Description Agite.ai builds AI Sales Pods for founder-led B2B teams that need more pipeline without increasing traditional sales headcount. These pods are staffed by digital sales employees who manage the manual work around sales calls, including prospecting, outreach, reply handling, meeting booking, call preparation, CRM updates, and follow-up drafts. Sales teams retain ownership of the core sales conversation while Agite.ai ensures they arrive prepared, respond quickly, and keep systems organized. The company focuses on lean B2B organizations selling high-ticket, consultative deals, helping them close more business by reducing time spent on administrative and pipeline-chasing tasks.
Role Description The AI Product Lead is a full-time, on-site role based in the New York City Metropolitan Area. This role is responsible for defining and owning the product vision for Agite.ai’s AI Sales Pods, turning market needs from founder-led B2B teams into clear product roadmaps and measurable outcomes. Day-to-day responsibilities include prioritizing features, managing the product backlog, and collaborating with engineering, data science, and design to deliver high-impact AI capabilities for digital sales employees. The AI Product Lead will conduct customer discovery with B2B founders and sales leaders, translate insights into product requirements, and continuously iterate based on performance metrics and user feedback. This role will also coordinate go-to-market efforts with sales and marketing, ensure product alignment with company strategy, and champion responsible, effective use of AI in sales workflows.
Qualifications
- Experience in product management or product leadership, ideally in AI, SaaS, or B2B sales technology, with a track record of owning product strategy and roadmaps.
- Strong understanding of AI, data, and automation capabilities (e.g., workflow automation, machine learning concepts, conversational AI) and how they apply to sales or revenue operations.
- Background in B2B sales processes or revenue operations, including prospecting, outreach, CRM usage, pipeline management, and high-ticket consultative selling.
- Ability to conduct structured customer discovery, synthesize qualitative and quantitative insights, and convert them into clear product requirements and user stories.
- Comfort working closely with engineering and design teams, including experience with agile methodologies, backlog prioritization, and iterative product delivery.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience defining success metrics, interpreting product performance data, and making evidence-based decisions.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain complex AI-driven products to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, lean startup environment, taking ownership, making tradeoffs, and driving alignment across teams.
