We’re looking for an experienced Node.js Backend Developer to join a leading enterprise banking project in Toronto .

**Hiring: Node.js Backend Developer Toronto, ON (4 Days Onsite)**

Location: Toronto, ON (4 days/week onsite – non-negotiable)

Interview: Face-to-Face (L1 and/or Client Interview)

🔹 Key Responsibilities

• Develop backend applications using Node.js and TypeScript
• Design and build REST APIs and Microservices
• Work closely with Architects, Product Owners, QA, and DevOps teams
• Ensure application security, scalability, and performance
• Participate in code reviews, CI/CD, testing, and production support

🔹 Required Skills

✅ 5+ years of software development experience

✅ Node.js, TypeScript, Express.js/NestJS

✅ REST APIs & Microservices Architecture

✅ SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MongoDB

✅ AWS, Azure, or GCP

✅ Docker, Kubernetes, Git & CI/CD

✅ Strong secure coding and software engineering practices

✅ Experience using AI tools such as Microsoft Copilot, Claude , or similar to improve development productivity

⭐ Preferred

• Banking or Financial Services experience
• Kafka & Event-Driven Architecture
• Agile/Scrum
• React/Angular exposure
• Open Banking, Payments, or DevOps Automation
