About the Role
Vertex Healthcare Partners is a healthcare investment platform that acquires and operates behavioral health, assisted living, home care, and specialty healthcare businesses. We run lean and move fast, which means this seat has real visibility into how deals get done.
You’ll work directly with the Partner as the first point of contact for brokers, sellers, lenders, and vendors, and you’ll own the systems that keep the day-to-day running.
What You’ll Do
-
Reach out to brokers, business owners, and operators by phone and email to introduce the firm and gather preliminary information
-
Follow up consistently and log every touchpoint
-
Draft, proof, and send correspondence on the Partner’s behalf
-
Manage inbox, calendar, and scheduling
-
Prepare and organize documents, agreements, and diligence materials
-
Track deadlines and open items across multiple active workstreams
-
Coordinate with outside accountants, attorneys, and lenders to collect documents and follow items to completion
-
Maintain and improve internal checklists and standard operating procedures
-
Keep files, records, and trackers accurate and current
Who You Are
-
2+ years in an executive assistant, operations, or administrative role
-
Strong written and verbal English; you can write a clean email and hold a professional phone conversation with a business owner
-
Highly organized with real attention to detail
-
Comfortable learning new software quickly
-
Discreet — you’ll handle confidential financial information, and it stays in the room
-
Self-directed; you take a task and bring it to completion without being chased
