Job Description
About us
Enterprise Technology Alliance (ETA) is a 30-year-old international technology company headquartered in San Bernardino, California, with active projects across North America, Africa, the Middle East, and Southeast Asia. We build power infrastructure, telecommunications, datacenters, and sovereign digital platforms for governments, utilities, and enterprise clients — including large multi-jurisdiction development corridors and industrial-scale manufacturing programs.
The ETA family of companies includes ETA Industrial (power equipment, transformers, fiber optics, solid-state technology),ETA Development (AI and software engineering), and the ETA Group platform. We coordinate closely with IVETS, our sister 501(c)(3) workforce nonprofit, and STEMWORX, our public-benefit workforce placement corporation.
The Executive Assistant to the CEO is the operational spine of the entire enterprise. This seat unblocks the founder, orchestrates a global calendar across continents and time zones, and moves dozens of high-stakes threads at once. It is a seat with real leverage.
What you’ll do
- Manage the CEO’s calendar and inbox. Prioritize meetings, defend focus time, filter and triage email at partner-level judgment.
- Travel and logistics. Book domestic and occasional international travel; anticipate visas, hotels, ground transport, dietary needs, and time-zone realities.
- Board and investor coordination. Prepare board materials, coordinate quarterly meetings across ETA-family entities, and manage confidential communications.
- Meeting preparation. Build agendas, capture minutes, track action items, and follow up until they close.
- Correspondence. Draft and edit executive-level emails, letters, and proposals under the CEO’s voice.
- Special projects. Own a shifting portfolio of high-priority projects that need someone smart, resourceful, and discreet.
What you bring
- 5+ years supporting a senior executive. CEO, COO, general counsel, or comparable. Prior C-suite EA experience is required.
- MS Office fluency. Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint at the level where you build, not just consume.
- Discretion. You have handled confidential information — HR, legal, financial, board-level — without a slip.
- Written communication. Your emails read like the CEO wrote them.
- Judgment. You know when to escalate, when to decide, and when to say “let me get back to you.”

Culture: who thrives here
We are hiring for these attributes as much as for the resume. If you do not see yourself here, this is not the role for you — and that is okay.
Sense of humor. Our days are long and the work is real. We do not take ourselves too seriously — but we take the mission and the people we serve very seriously.
Driven. We are building three real companies and a nonprofit. If “clock in, clock out” is your style, this is not the role. If you like seeing what you built work, we are for you.
Curious. You ask “why?” and “what else?” You read the whole email. You Google before you interrupt.
Team player. Cross-entity work only works when people cover for each other. Ego-free operators thrive here.
Why this role matters
This is not a “book my flights” seat. You will be the operating leverage for the founder across a 30-year international enterprise — ETA, ETA Industrial, ETA Development, IVETS, and STEMWORX. If you enjoy variety, want real ownership, and would rather be trusted than told, this role rewards you accordingly.
Growth path: strong performers grow into Chief of Staff or VP of Operations within 18–24 months.
